Xinjiang Xiaocaohu Wind Power Project(ID: 100000000000164)
Xinjiang Xiaocaohu Wind Power Project (hereafter refers to the proposed project) is to utilize wind resources for electricity generation through the installation and operation of 49.5MW wind farm in Tuokexun County, Turfan Basin, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China and an 110kV substation. The project is designed to supply 116.255GWh of electricity per year, from which the electricity generated will be sold to the Xinjiang Power Grid, an integral part of the Northwest China Power Grid. The grid-connected fossil fuel-fired power plants are dominated in the Northwest China Power Grid. The proposed project activity will achieve obvious greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by avoiding CO2 emissions. The annual average estimated emission reduction over the first crediting period is 108,924 tCO2e.
