Description

Creation of a new native woodland covering 78 hectares. This woodland is an expansion of an existing native woodland along the shores of Loch Naver in Sutherland, North Scotland. It will comprise of Scottish grown native species including downy Birch, Oaks, Rowan, willows and hazels. replicating those species already present in the adjacent ancient woodland. The creation of the native woodland will enhance the ground flora and create an improved habitat for native fauna.
