Description

76.9ha productive woodland, including open space, close to Loch Riddon near Colintraive in the County of Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Predominantly sitka spruce, at 50.85% and 8.91% Norway spruce. The remainder is a variety of native broadleaf species including downy birch, alder, rowan and goat willow. The woodland aims to combine a sustainable source of timber from the conifer element to help meet national need, with a large permanent area of broadleaf selected specifically for their environmental value
