Description

Spittal Hill is a mix of native broadleaves (27.15 ha), native scots pine woodland (32.42 ha) and commercial conifers (84.68 ha). Native broadleaves create a habitat corridor along the southern boundary and along watercourses, improving riparian habitat. The site is located within Cairngorm National Park and will provide a long term productive hardwood supply of quality timber whilst also protecting and enhancing the surrounding biodiversity and landscape interest.
