Description

Trinity Gask comprises three woodland creation blocks in Strathearn, north of Auchterarder. The main objective is timber production and carbon sequestration, with a mix of Sitka spruce and Douglas fir. This will be managed using the Clearfell sylvicultural system. A significant proportion of native broadleaves will also be established for environmental value and landscape amenity. This area will be managed by minimum intervention for perpetuation by natural regeneration.
